Iconography

This is a set of social service icons I created for the International Child Resource Institute in Berkeley, California, a nonprofit organization focused on connecting resources to disadvantaged children and families. The nonprofit requested a way to visually organize the various organizations with which it works, along the with social services that each organization provides. The icons represent different types of social services, such as health care, housing, food, clothing, education, child and infant care, maternity care, employment assistance, and support for women and girls. A sample of the larger document layout I designed is also shown, incorporating the set of icons. My goal was to create a contemporary, clean aesthetic, with a color palette suited to a child and family focus without feeling juvenile.
